Here is a decent boar we caught sunday morning , with 2 black mouths, and 2 kemmers. he had 3 3/4"on the left and broken off at 2 1/2" on his right.

Thanks, and not a scratch on any of the dogs. knock on wood.
He was caught on private timberland north of Boulder creek,
Santa cruz county is all private or park. there are only 2 pices of BLM both are land locked and holding hogs. I feel very lucky to have access to quality spots.
Crodog there is allways time to run the dogs. I'll get a hold of you soon. I havn't been out your way in a while.

BayedSolid, this boar was wishing he could climb. The pup on the right in my avatar was 3 months old, 9 months now. the other 2 are just showing her what to do. I try to get them able to locate and tree before I show them a hog.

Speck, yes the population is coming back. the parks lost their depredation funding
during the winter of 03/04.
