It was a great day to beat the sun up Sunday morning.

sunrise1.jpg

I screwed up after I took this shot - I set my f stop to 5.6 or 6.3 I can't remember, for this pic and forgot to set it back to f2.8 and then seen a big buck when it was still a little dim out- I was able to snap two pics but they came out like crap. Live and learn.. I probably never forget to do that again - yeah right!!!

And a pic of a little doe wondering what I was pointing at her...

can't wait for the trees to start turning here - should be a real colorfull fall this year. More pics to come soon..

Thats a awesome sunrise. Thanks for posting. could you post a pic with the wrong f-stop? I'm curios to see what it looks like. I just starting to get into photography and would like to see what different mistakes look like.

Sorry Screwloose - I already deleted the pics. They came out underexposed and had a bunch of motion blur to them.
I just got into photography this past year and found that the best way to understand your camera is to just get out there and
take pics and try adjusting your settings to see how they affect your pics. That and a lot of help from guys on this forum. If you have any questions - just ask - theres a lot of people here that are more than willing to help a newbee out.
Practice , practice, practice - but most of all have fun doing it. Post up some pics when you get a chance.
