I have been scouting a large sunflower field for a couple of weeks now. Yesterday the farmer started running a disc through them all. There has been a fair amount of dove using the field. Do you guys think that the discing will run those birds off or attract more by putting the seeds on the ground? Only 1 more week and it's killin' me to get out!   Scott

Unless the rodents come and pick it clean, I'd imagine that it will attract more birds.

Good luck,
Paul

I agree with hogskin.  As long as there seeds or food the birds will still continue to go there.  Also, it might make it easier for you to see the birds coming in to feed.  Good luck.
