Thanks guys. That means a lot coming from the likes of you. I'm a total rookie with a digital and 99% of the time have it set on "auto". Every squirrel finds a nut once in while.
It still doesn't do it the justice of being there. Only God could make something so beautiful as sunsets.
Here's one from an old scan. The scanner I had at the time was pretty poor so the orginal was much better. Haven't tried many sunsets with the new digital yet.
Early morning drive in North East Vermont. The picture doesn't show it that well, but there was a beam of sun going directly up. I was running out of time trying to find a place to pull over and capture the sunrise without getting powerlines and houses in the picture.
Why don't we do this every month and JHO will offer a 128MB flash card of your choice and a SPUDZ lens cleaning cloth and holder to the winner. We can also offer a flash card reader to those that need that instead.
At the end of Aug we can run a poll to see who wins?
I kept telling myself to bring my camera on the way to work because I've seen some really nice sunrises through the morning haze. Unfortunately, this is the only I captured. The others were much more beautiful.
