Well after looking at Binos I finally orderd the Swarovski 10X42 SLC. I hunted with a pair of binos and it coast me a Buck last year.
The sun going down and being at a lower point in a canyon, a buck came over the top and with the binos I was useing I couldn't see it's rack soze, being that the buck was in front of a bush that was all twigs, so as it came closer and shoot time was over, I went home empty handed and told myself I would spend the $$$ and get some good binos, so after talking myself into it I orderd them.

Got them in the mail on Thursday. These are a sweeeeeeeeet pair of Binos. Talk about clear, kinda makes me wonder why I was being so cheap and useing some cheapos for so many years, oh yeh I remember there are not cheap. As the saying goes you get what you pay for and I tell you what, they are every penny. I pray that I don't drop them

I just got back from Cabells here in Michigan. I am going to wait till I can order the EL's Looked at theLeicas and Leupolds. Man those swaro's are nice. They had a pair of 8.5x10 EL's for $1207 in the bargin bin. Almost bought them. Then I woke up and decided to hold off. Seems a lot of folks just buy the stuff at cabella's and return it after hunting season.

I ordered my SLC 10X42's today. Should be here tomorrow. I've put up with cheap binos for years and finally had an opportunity to get good glass. I did my homework including side by side comparisons and decided that these were the ones for me.

I have owned my 10x42 SLC's for about two years and what a difference its made. Its actually fun looking through my optics now for more than 2 minutes. Its amazing how much more time I sepnd behind them looking over and over and slower looking for game.
I had a ziess copy (redfields) 10x 50 before I took the plunge and upgraded. I sat one night at low light and examined roof riles, chimmneys, antanaes on roof tops in the parking lot at our local archery shop one night before they closed. I compared the two bino's mine and the SLC's, the SLC's were so much better, brighter , crisp, even with a smaller objective lens they were superior. I ordered them that night at our local archery shop. Never regretted the purchase. Good luck and Happy hunting..

PS: Almost every archery tournament I go to , people ask to try them. Get used to it.
