Well fellas it's taken two years of birthdays and Christmas' but I have finally saved up enough Cabelas gift certificates the total is now $1125.00. So I now the swaros are the best but now which model and power are the choice. I hunt blacktails and muleys. 8x42 or 10x42 el hmmmm

I think 10x42's get the nod from me. It gives you just a little bit more "can see" than the 8 power. To me this is really important if you really spend the time behind the eyecups you should to glass the right way.

You have scrimped and saved for a couple of years, get the most you can for the money.

How about the 8.5s and one of their doubler eyepieces? Those are some awesome binocs, whichever power you choose.
