That's right, and that's the folks that are going to get sick, they got no immunity build up, good thing I'm a plumber I deal with all kinda of s-it and hardly get sick
Exactly, lots of people today dont understand what their immune system is for in the first place, I'm not saying go jump into a pile of syringes full of viruses, but our immune system is there for a reason, and it will do its job if given time. Also I find it amusing when people say that there are no medical vaccines for this virus yet, when earlier this week the federal government released 65% (last number i head) of its stockpile of vaccines specific to this virus. People are just misinformed, and panicing, and some people are suffering because of it I am sure, a sad reality.

Many, especially those who don't have higher standards of health and sanitation are usually the first to fall. Ole mexico is among those nations who do not have adequate health or sanitation standards nor do they have a reliable health care system in place. As seen in the big cities, the public is very much at risk.
Here in the USA we have good health standards but still have open borders and lax inspections at airports and border crossings...

Bout sizes it up.
They say this bug cannot survive outside, in the sun, for more than 1hr, so at least we all should be safe when approaching bathroom doorknobs...

New updated stats reveal swine flu symptoms and probable cases in California are on the rise. California public health officials announced Saturday the number of confirmed swine flu cases in the state have risen to 24.
California Department of Public Health officials are also testing samples from 110 probable cases. That's up from 17 confirmed and 55 probable cases from Friday

Ah yeah...I'm going to be scared silly by something I, so far, have less of chance of catching then winning the lotto.

I am checking in using the hotel WiFi Network where we are staying here in Honolulu. The Hawaiian TV News just announced that the Swing Flu is now confirmed here in Hawaii. During the flight over, no one wore a blue mask, and at SFO there was a total of 5. Don’t know if the lack of surgical masks is the cause of spreading the flu?
Anyway, today I was on the beach surf fishing, and as I returned to my rental car I seen a Toyoda pickup parked across the road with a crate full of dogs. It looked like a hog hunting setup for sure, so I went over and started a hunting conversation. Found out that the young guy is planning on starting a web page, and has access to the private land in Kaaawa Valley (that’s correct spelling with three A’s) That stretch up through the valley really looks good while gazing through the locked gate. I invited him to Jesse’s forum, and the name on the back of the pickup was, “Hollywood Huntah”.

Just as a note... those surgical masks won't do a bit of good. The virus is too small, and will go right through. All they do is make you look silly and you have to breathe your own hot breath.

It's just another flu... and not even an especially virulent one at that. If not for the hype and some idiot jumping on bad information about pneumonia deaths out of Mexico, it wouldn't even be in the news.

Hi all,

We made it home without catching the flu. One good thing came out of this trip and that was that we met a young Hawaiian boar hunter with a crate full of dogs. He was willing to take me into the Kaaawa Valley hog hunting while we were talking about the swine flu. No reservations needed. I have invested quite a bit of time during our last few visits, checking out that area for hunting. Last trip we went out on the Kualoa Ranch Jungle tour, so that we could view the Kaaawa Valley from the top down. The gal who is the tour guide told us that the wild pigs come down out of the mountains during the early morning hours and grazing out in the open. During the trip before that, for the San Jose State football Verses U of Hawaii game, we checked out Ahupua’a O Kanana State Park that boarders the Kaaawa Valley.

There is plenty of information on the Kaaawa Valley, because that is where Hollywood has made a few movies. (It’s a beautiful place.) Kanana State Park is the old World War II jungle warfare training area for the Pacific War. That jungle is so thick that we couldn’t see much.
