we are kinda limited in LA area for the fact that the forests allow shooting only for hunting purposes. But if you drive ot toward mojave there is open space available and there is even some pockets near pamdale.

Here is a link to a map that is sectioned in quarters, the yellow areas I belive are available for target shooting.

For shotguns try here...five stand and sporting clays only, no skeet or trap.

www.moorenmoore.com

Right next door is Angeles Shooting Range...steel, silohuette, 600 or 700 yd rifle. Pistol steel. Rimfire 100 yd. range adjacent to pistol steel range. The long range is center fire that has steel all the way out to something like 700 yds. You can punch paper too.

www.angelesranges.com

It is a little up the 210 from the 5.

I can't believe the laws in California are that restrictive. Once again law abiding citizens get screwed with all the rules and regulations.

CarsonChris.

you are totally right, and its just getting worse!! california is goin down the drain, and the problem with the people south of the boarder is not helping at all!!! u can blame the democrats for all this!! they always seem to have a simple, easy solution, and it just screws things up even more! look at our school system!!
