Here is the fourth bird that I have now completed in taking up Taxidermy. This Gadwall is still a little on the young side but one I was wanting to do. I am trying to get some birds going again now that my back is feeling a little better after my fusion surgery.........I've got 5 others going right now.......my next one soon to be finished is a drake redhead I took at the end of last season.
Please let me know what you think about my Gadwall.
Take care,
Jim

JRKPintail, great to see you're still puttin' birds up...Nice job on a bursting Gaddy, shoot me an email and I'll give you a tip on spreading and dramatazising the primaries and tail...good job, and nice mount for a juvie!

Head and neck need some work...a little more bend, and some caulking ought to do it...

Looks nice, and to be able to do your own must be a great pleasure.

Seeing your gaddy makes me want to send the one I have in the freezer off to the taxi.
