Due to a last minute bailout (wife's sister or something wedding??
<
) we now have five openings for a 2.5 day unguided archery only pig hunt on the Tejon Ranch for March 12-14 which is a Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. Cost is $400 plus $13 insurance fee per person, meals and lodging included - North area and Vaquero cabin. Basically it's the same hunt package that Speckmisser put together except it's not the weekend.

My buddy Mark is ramrodding this hunt but since I have better access to the internet, I told him that I would help put the word out and help coordinate with him. For those of you who don't know me or Mark from Adam, I work with El Cazador and he's hunted with both of us before so hopefully we haven't burned our bridges and he'll vouch for us or at least Mark

We need to have the whole enchilada to Barbara by March 2nd so our cut-off to have your packet and hunt fee in our hands will have to be Feb 27th to give us enough time to make sure we have everything and still give us time to mail it out. In the event that we fail to make the minimum headcount (8), we will have to cancel the hunt and return everyone's money. I know it's not a whole lotta time but it's all that we have to work with -sorry.

If your'e interested pm me, the sooner the better.

Well, based on the reports from this last weekend you should get plenty of guys to sign up. I'd be all over it but am sidelined for another 4-6 weeks. The guys were deep into them this last weekend on the same hunt. Good luck filling the slots, hopefully it isn't a problem. For the price and what you get I don't see another hunt in this state that offers the same value on an archery only pig hunt!

I hear you BDB, my buddy just got back this weekend on a rifle hunt he won when we went to the DFG pig clinic they held there during the summer. Him and his buddy both got their pigs by 8:30am on Saturday. They hunted some place that was called "the Islands"? Sure hope we can make muster!

Diddo on BDB'S response. Great value and oppertunity's. Nice ranch. I would be up for it again, but I'm planning on hunting pigs the next couple of months closer to home. Probably Livermore and Cloverdale areas for me.

It's one pig per hunter....it's a good deal as far as private land goes. I'd sign up, but I'll be there the week before. I know how hard it is getting people to get their sh*t together....I had to chase people down the week after I told them to get it in to me. Still can't believe I got eleven people after two bailed on me and I had people knockin' down my door the last minute....Try hitting up Savage1 in here, he may want to go.

Guys,

Thanks for the input and passing the word out. We have one confirmed taker and possibly a buddy of his, we'll know tonight. That leaves four openings now. Come on guys let's do a whack, stack, bag & tag two step on these little piggys! I'll even bring the Eagle Rare
