Not yet. Leaving Friday morning at 5am. Wish some of you guys were joining us. I have never hunted there in December. Those that I've spoken with, say it's the best month --- weather permitting. I think we're looking good on the weather forecast.

I'm holding out for a big tusker...until Sunday morning, of course. The only thing I'm worried about, is SDHNTR filling his tag and then mine. That boy is a killer. I don't know if he can help himself. He's got predatoritis. He's deadly.

My son came home from Tejon with a nice hog. 164 lbs dressed. I'll try to post a pict but I am new to this! He dropped it with a 7-08 and tried to finish it with a .45 Auto FMJ to the shoulder but when that didn't work, he went back to the 7-08 to get the job done. Found the .45 Auto slug when skinning. Went through the armor but stopped before entering the body cavity. Them hogs is tough!
