Hey guys i am finally getting my wish i will be heading to Tejon Ranch for an archery hog hunt this will be my 5th time going after hogs with a bow and my first to Tejon, i do know what kind of sign to look for i was schooled by a great hog hunter by the name of Ernie who i met at FHL about 3yrs. ago as i set by the fire and took notes since then i have been close to hogs 1 missed shot clean and other close encounters but no arrows launched so my question is i know this place is different than fhl, choppers, and the public spot i've been to which a fellow member on here whom has moved backeast now helped me with ok here we go i'll be hunting the Northside 1) is it best to get up high on a ridge and glass down into the draws 2) do the pigs prefer a specific facing slope morning or evening do to the kind of weather we could have there 3) will the pig's move to lower area's to get out of the snow for food or does this not matter much 4) i have short wheel based 4wd vehicle to get back into areas are there roads that will put you on top of the ridges and yes i will bring plenty of rope..lol any other suggestions would be appreciated if you would like feel fre to P.M.,or email........P.S. anyone else goona be there for this hunt JAN.30th - FEB.01ST!
