medicjunebug??? ive been a member for over 10 yrs and was one of the few who had a polaris ranger and traveled every inch of that ranch (when it was legal).$6
i was up there every single friday/sat, and i totally disagree with u... if u mean as in ROAD HUNTING.... then yes it is... the main reason its been leased out for so much $$$ is because its sooo close....less than 40 mins from my front door in SFV.

just to b clear. I read all the hog post and many people talk about guest pass and or how they work. I was not talking about any one or thing per say. I was just talking and thought that was what the forum is for. Shooting the sh$t right.

lmao..... as you tell us about your $40k truck and how you are one of the few that had a Polaris. who gives a rats... And as far as the invite. It was not I that could not communicate, and than got my panties in a wad because of some not named questions and razzing. After my time around here I learn as I go. One thing I learned quick is that I WOULD NOT HUNT with YOU if YOU Paid me. Much less bring a war hero around you. I know the type of people the Lt. Col likes to be around, so made my job easy to know what to do there. lol The fact that you even bring that crap up again, just shows what kind of guy you are. I will stick with the "country boy" friends I have made around here. They don't judge from their high rock on the hill.

Oh and I never called you any names and didn't even ever give a name to my questions and what not way back than. So again the fact that you feel the need to call names and bring up old sh$t only shows more about who u are. Thanks little bro.

I was just asking about rules above. I was being real when I said maybe some of us could team up and get a tejon membership. That is if its ok charge for guest pass and if guest can hunt up there.

Again sorry. I didn't troll anything but guess as the newer guy. Its my bad for others misunderstanding. I will try to do better, I am here to make friends not trouble.

captjgray im usually in the black 4 door rubicon, but sometimes take my giant dodge mega up thre. i just got home from the ranch, pierpoint was going to join me but he had work stuff. temp was 45 when i got there at 455am and 41when i left at 1230pm....
the roads are terrible up top, so dont even bother till next week.. rest of the ranch has nasty slide marks from the last weeknd POR. im pretty sure from the looks of it that quite a few got nice and stuck..
saw over 100 elk, and about 30-40 hogs. and a golden eagle with a wounded wing, called Tony and hes makin the calls...

Just got back
Saw pigs all day,
didn't leave HB until 0630 when my buddy got off work.
saw pigs all over the ranch, roads were in perfect shape. Got down low out of the wind and you could take your pick on what you wanted.

Man, it's been a year since my first hunt there, and can't wait to get back. Was looking forward to trying the south side the next time, but from what I am reading, that ain't going to happen. No biggie though, loved what I saw on the north side anyway......

So about how many acres is the North section? I just feel like, myself personally, that raising the price for access yet cutting the area in half is pretty sh@%$y of them. I'm not completely familiar with the subject but that's what it seems to boil down to to me. I dont know

The whole ranch is 270,000+ acres. North and south are about even so somewhere around 135,000 acres mas' o 'menos

Im heading up this weekend, gonna hunt Saturday evening and Sunday morning. were taking my cousins son over to HDHC for his first Pheasant hunt Saturday morning.
