Just got email stating north side only south side closed. Anybody going ? Any tips on north side general areas?

Focus on Tejon Canyon or back up towards Winters ridge if you can get up that high, roads will be tough.

Tejon Canyon you will have a ton of options...

Just as you start to enter the mouth of Tejon Canyon on the side side of road I always saw hogs on that north facing slope about half way up. Early and late and one big boar used to hang there too.

I've seen the north side from a distance. Never been there. I cancelled for two reasons. 1) The rest of my group (6 of us) are cancelling because they only want to hunt the south side. 2) I need to make this hunt short and I know I will tag out by Friday evening on south side. Can't do that with south side closed. I'm sure I will find hogs on north side, but probably not in the short time I plan to be there. Good luck to all who are going. Be careful on those wet roads.

3. Combining the North and South side is not good on hunters. for sure it will be crowded.

going to b a cold one. just over the mt. range in the valley the Lt. Col lives in. there is snow 20inches deep in lots of spots. b carefull out there. stay warm and try to have fun.
