A buddy of mine is not going to be able to make a hunt we had set up for the weekend of January 26th and another friend of his that was going won't be making it either. This gives us 2 open spots on a bow hunt for hogs near Llano, Texas. I know it is short notice but if anyone wants to go, send me an email and I'll give you the particulars. This ranch has not been hunted for hogs since last August and the moon will be waxing so the night hunting should be great!! Here piggy piggy.....

Let me know the details and maybe I can find someone interested. What ranch is it on and how much? Is it an archery hunt? You may want to post this on http://www.texasbowhunter.com if it's an archery hunt.
It is $130 for two days with lodging included. This is not a day lease ranch but Terry runs archery hog hunts every second or third weekend from the end of January until August each year. This is the weekend leading up to the full moon so the night hunting should be great! The ranch is 1000 acres, low fenced. Well, we picked up two and lost two but "The hunt is on!!" We have clear skys and overnight temps in the 30s right now.
With a waxing moon high in the sky at sunset, the hunting should be great the next two nights. Hopefully there will be pics Sunday evening.
