The Illusive San Diego Pig.....still out there?????

I was told that the DFG already carried out their plan to get rid of the San Diego Hogs, by shooting them from helicopters.....but by reading this article that came out today..... it sounds like I need to get out there on Sunday and give it another go at finding those illusive San Diego pigs.....time to get er done!

Good to hear of a recent harvest. ###They defiantly move around and are illusive. ###Me and a buddy worked a couple of new areas hard this spring and couldn't quite get there. ###Tons of rooting and fresh tracks on a couple of the outings. ###But the most frustrating was the grunts in the bushes right next to us one very early spring morning that quickly faded over the course of about 10 seconds. ###Grr! ###That said, I know of one nice confirmed wild hog harvested in early March in the SD backcountry and a couple of others taken in late March but haven't heard of others since. ######
