I woke up this morning bright eyed and clear headed.
Made a mental list of the things I wanted to do early in the morning.
Then the phone rings and it's my cousin.
His mom, my aunt Ruth passed away last night.

I lived with her on her farm when I was in College
The peace and quiet out there probably helped me to focus on my school work better.
And graduate.

Every time a calf was born she would give it a name.
Names like Bertie, Carmen and a spotted bull she called Domino.

She was a great cook and baker.
She gave us hell when we would go out to the barn and get stinking drunk.
She didn't mind my hunting around the property.
She just made it clear that we not shoot the bucks that came down to the apple orchards behind the house.

I'm gonna miss her. And I'm thankfull that she allowed me to live a lifestyle that I will never forget.

T,

So sorry to hear of your family's loss. Cherish the memories; that's how we keep going sometimes. I like Aunt Ruth; I wish we all has one like her.

Blessings,
Belch

Tmoniz >. When you’re passing along all those great qualities to your family members, friends and acquaintances just think about your aunt. Sounds like a wonderful person.

She sounds like she was a great lady. She will be missed, I"m sure, but you obviously have a lot of great memories of here to. Treasue those

That's one of the worse things about getting older. Sorry for your loss.
