Bear hunting, cooking and country music are channel highlights

New Berlin, Wisconsin – The Sportsman Channel is pleased to add a slate of new programming joining the network starting March 31st. All times listed are eastern standard time.

Backstage & Backroads with Daniel Lee Martin

Tuesdays at 10 p.m.

Daniel Lee is back with his second season in the woods, on the water, or singing in a concert hall. Follow Daniel Lee and his country music buddies on their path to music stardom.

Bush Hog Trail Series

Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

Outdoorsman, John Wilson, hits the trail in search of the ultimate hunting adventures. From ducks in Canada, to white-tailed deer in Georgia, to cape buffalo in Africa, John brings his unique perspective to you.

Excalibur’s Team Backwoods

Saturdays at 9 p.m.

Excalibur’s Crossbows is teaming up with Team Backwoods Adventures for the best in bear and big game hunting around the world.

Cook What You Catch

Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Randy Meier brings an instant national celebrity appeal to this show. Viewers loved him as a host on MSNBC and they will love him even more as he takes on a female challenger on "Cook What You Catch." This battle-of-the-sexes show begins in the great outdoors and heats up even more as the couple moves to the kitchen. The question is… will a female challenger step up to the plate to keep up with him as he tackles the monster fish, the creepy crawly, and even frightening prey?!

Personal Defense TV Strategies

Saturday at 10:30 p.m.

Don’t be a victim of crime. See what the experts have to say about all aspects of personal defense including establishing a self-protection mindset and having an action plan. Join host Tom Gresham as he visits some of the top self-defense training schools in the country to experience their personal defense teaching concepts.

These programs air alongside other great shows continuing on the channel, such as, National Wild Turkey Federation’s Turkey Call, Benelli’s American Safari Classics, Yamaha’s Fishing Club Journal and On Target with Guns & Ammo.
