So any other JHO's going this weekend other than me, coues, and One Track? We weren't cool enough to go last weekend so this is our consolation trip.

Got any recent pointers for us? Any changes to take note of? Hope you guys left a few for us.

All I know is that they saw some bigguns that didn't go down, 'cept for one monster that dressed out at 290#. Woo doggie! That's a beast.

Staying home for Mother's Day bought me another 40 days in the field come this fall.

We're gonna whack 'em and stack 'em! T-minus 66 hours.

Hey guys, OneTrack doesn't need a lot of help knowing where to go and he's right, there are some BIG hogs out there. All this rain made lots of food and they're eating well.

The usual places are still hot (I don't mind sharing specifics, but only in more intimate conditions), so you guys already know where to go.

Wallows are seeing a LOT of action right now. There's a certain "secret" loop that someone likes to drive that might just pay dividends to the diligent hunter.

The pressure from our hunt did not send the hogs to ground. Sunday afternoon they were out in the open by 4:30.

Ya'll know where to reach me.

They are definitely eating well. Watching Rancho gut his hog, I couldn't believe how bloated the stomach was with grass. I kept thinking of the Monty Python skitt "I couldn't eat another bite", "but it's a waffer thin" !!

Most of the hogs I saw on the pole had more fat on them than I had ever seen on any hog or deer!!

Good luck guys, I wish I was going to be there again. I'll definitely be going back to that ranch one day. Probably not for a guided elk trip though unless I hit that damn lotto!

Don't worry SD. If I can't find a big boar by Sunday mornin', I'll gladly settle on tasty tender sow.

I plan doing on my usual routine, shooting a nice eater uphill from the road on Friday. Then finishing the weekend drinking and heckling everyone else. A pig is a pig is a pig.

You've broken my heart, BirdDawg. Why'd you go and do that?

Ya'll shoot em good, remember it isn't really hunting if you don't have a three mile up hill drag.
