I didn’t do anything to these images to make the water look like this, it’s the way it looked this afternoon when I took the images. Does the color of the water add or take away from the images? I’m not sure if I like it or not (kind of looks artificial).

And I was finally able to get some of the teal in the head-feathers of this golden-eye, it's the way they should look.

Thanks DEERSLAM and FredtheGad. DEERSLAM, of the all the pics that I've taken, the avatar picture is definitely my favorite.

Here are the last two from today. The water in the first one looks the way it does due to the reflection of some snow. Second pic is just some mallards.

A g/e that almost got away, this is from last weekend. Golden-eyes are all over the photog boards right now.

Thanks again DEERSLAM, mallards seem to be the easiest ducks to photograph.

As always, great shots. I dont think that the color of the water takes away from the shot at all, but adds to it giving the feel of being there.
