I took this one about 30 minutes ago. A doe and 2 good sized yearlings were out in my pasture. This one was so big, he had to get down on his front knees to get some lunch.

Nice looking deer! Is that right from your house? They are fun entertainment, better than television in my eyes.

One of my office windows looks out over the woods that are 50 yards behind the house and the other one overlooks the pond in the pasture. I see the deer come out of the woods and head for the pond or the oak trees in the pasture to munch on the acorns, and I sneak out on the deck with my camera.


Edit to add the picture I forgot..this shows just how big the yearling(s) were.

These two were on the other side of the yard this morning. They were both stomping and blowing at my cat who was sitting on the back deck. That's the only way I knew they were there. No doe with them, so maybe it's another pair.
