I WAS READING ABOUT THE TIMER CIRCUIT OPTION.  IT SAID THAT IF THE PIR IS TRIPPED FOR MORE THAN 3 MINS THE CAMERA WILL SHUT DOWN.  MY QUESTION IS DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN?  I LOOKED AT TINHORNS TIMER AND IT LOOKS LIKE FOREIGN LANGUAGE TO ME.  IS IT THAT DIFFICULT TO INCLUDE A TIMER?

Simple - I have never had one of my cams shut down althought others have. I use mine mainly on trails to feeding locations so the chance of something keeping it tripped for 3 minutes solid seems rather low. If your gonna use it at a feeder or an area where animals will hang around for a couple hours then I'd say do it. For the first 4 cams I built I didn't use any type of timer and after about 12 rolls I haven't had any shut down.
