Dad called the other night. He was an alternate for the Oct cow hunt and apparently someone bailed and he drew. Had max points and he's 69 this yea so not sure if this will be this last try for tules or not. So, I have a good excuse to head down and join in the fun. Haven't been that far south in a decade. Be interesting to see how the river is looking. Hope duck will open by then, can't be hanging out in one of my old duck busting spots without getting in some shooitin'.

Orygun,

Congrats to your Dad on his draw! If he was drawn for the period 3 Tinemaha hunt Oct. 16 I got the other tag. Maybe we will run into each other.

Pete,

Look across the highway. Apparently he has the West? Tinnemaha tag. If you see a dodge ram or Oregon plates, that'll be me.
