I will be doing a lot of shed hunting in the corn stubble this year, any good tips for spotting the sheds laying in such good camo? I have looked before, but never found one in the corn, don't know if it was because there weren't any, or if I just couldn't see them cause they blend in so well?

coyotebandit-I've only ever looked in corn stubble a couple times myself and only ever found one.I don't have areas like that to search in my spots.I found the best way was to walk a row slow and only check a couple rows on each side as you walk the row. When you hit the end of the row more over to the next set of rows and start over. It's slow covering the entire field, but you know you've covered everything.
When I did search the corn stubble I waited to be sure the deer had all dropped cause for me it was a slow proccess searching that way.

I found the easiest way is to wait for a light snow cover. I usually walk the edges while looking down the rows. Depending on the field size I will walk against the rows in the middle. Don't forget to watch the fence lines and follow the trails to the bedding areas.
