I recently read an article on the internet about fair chase boar hunting on a ranch outside of Tucson. The author told of large, aggressive hogs and low prices. I e-mailed the outfitter, TNT Adventures, and received a response. The outfitter, Ron Thompson, told me that they run Razorback/Russian crosses and the hogs are "extremely wild." The ranch is 233,000 acres and the hunts appear to be semi-guided. The cost [this is what really interests me] is $200 for hogs up to 200 pounds plus 1$ per pound over 200 pounds. Hunters can also predator hunt at no charge. The e-mail indicates that coyotes, bobcats, and lions are abundant. Anyone know anything at all about this place? I quail hunt quite a bit outside of Tucson [10 quail mornings are common] and my parents live there, so I think I'll give it a shot. Any info, rumors, whatever would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the info doccherry. Do you have any more information on what "semi-guided" means, exactly? I'm thinking they point in the general direction of where the pigs were last seen and tell you to go get 'em?
