Todays haul

I went out sheddin' today. I found a medium 4 pt. and the more typical side off a non-typical that I took pics of this winter. Both had been chewed a little. I spotted my first one ever with my binoculars but lost it and had to resort to finding it with my naked eye. We went to a different spot next and my buddy found a little chewed 3 pt. from last year. On the way out I stopped to look at some bones. I yell to my buddy that the squirrels are even eating the bones. He looks at me and says Hey whats that. Laying 5 feet farther away is a giant shed. I'm standing there looking at bones and he finds a huge 9 pt. shed laying next to me. I thanked him for saving my life, I coulda tripped on that sucker and impaled myself. Here's the pic.

Good, a little something to get me fired up for tomorrow morning. Cool that you picked one out in the field glasses. I have never done that, they save me a lot of steps when I use them to eliminate hopefull sticks, plastic bags, branches, bottles, cans and corn stalks, but I have yet to find a shed through them. Good looking stuff!

CONGRATS on your finds today!!Pretty neat when you focus those binoculars in and it turns out to be a shed and not another wanna be shed.Congrats!!I use to carry around my spotting scope to really zoom in on the many possible sheds I'd find.
You should consider leaving your buddy behind the next time you head out.LOL First he finds the mate to that nice shed you found and won't shed swap with you.Now he finds a shed sitting under your nose.LOL
