Just like deer season...when I wanna get out and hunt but cant I end up scanning the hunting boards, and it does nothing to help the fact I'm stuck inside seeing all the bucks people shoot. Now past 3-4 days I've been itching to go shed hunting and going around checking out the shed hunting boards out there and seeing all the stuff others are finding does nothing to help being stuck inside by a foot of snow.

Anyone else stuck inside at the moment?

We don't have a foot but it is pretty close to that! I went out a couple days ago hoping to find a fresh one but I didn't stay out very long, in fear of bumping bucks around that are still packing. Too much snow to really go looking hard around here.

We only get snow on high peaks. We had abit in our yard 18 years ago(3 inches).I couldn't begin to amagine how it effects people that live with the stuff.I hope it melts soon and uncovers a few for ya mola!!

I guess a hair dryer and an extension chord is totaly out of the question?

Sounds like you are as anxious as I am but are havig the same problem. I can't even get out to scout the wintering grounds to know where to look in a couple of weeks due to the huge drifts!

To much snow here too. About three and half to four feet on ground right now. It started in early Dec. and hasn,t stopped. It will be middle of April for me here before I can get in the woods and fields.

Not too much here (2'+) but we have had so many successive snows I suspect that they are still burried untill the snow melts....Although I am planning on giving the low spots a few trials this weekend......

Snow here is SW MN as well. Heard of a few but very slow so far. Personally, only been out for 1 hr with no success.

Everyone in the mountains,

If you can get out of the mountains....don't forget about the southern knolls. They are at least worth a peak.
