Took a hike today...

Started off with an awesome find of a new honeyhole

Then I see these three guys hanging out by a waterhole.

Finally I was lucky enough to sneak up on this big lady. She had a cub with her, but he was behind some brush, so no photos. Anyway, she was starting to get pretty close so I let myself be known at about 30 yards, and she flew off.

And to top it off I found this guy on the way back. (the shed not the cat)

Nice bones Max. I wouldn't get too close to a Mother bear and her cub or we might be reading about you in the newspaper.

All I can find right now are those old ones too,mine aren't half as big though.

30yds. would have been way to close for me with that bear and cub.......

I know nothing about bears,but what i do know is 30 yrds is close to something that isn't in a costume at Disneyworld named Pooh.I certianly wouldn't try to give it a pot of your new honey.
