I was finaly able to take my new fz20 out today for the first time and all my pics came out with a small blue dot in the pic. I was using TIFF format at the greatest resolution. Anyone have any ideas whats causing this???

That is very strange. Did you do any editing to the images? If you do not want to delete the pictures you can easily remove the blue dots with a program like Photoshop, but I'm sure you would like to solve the problem completely... I hope someone can help.

edit- Richard, see if you can't find a phone number for Panasonic tech support and call them. I've been searching the net this morning and can't find anyone who has had a similar problem (usually you can just type what ever problem you are having into a search engine like Google and find a solution). I would return the camera for another one (same brand and model), a bad camera might have made it through quality control... it happens.

Very nice pictures by the way.

Try shooting in .jpg or another format at a solid color(like white). If the dot is still in the same place it could be hot or dead pixels. I'd take the camera back and exchange it.
