My friend Gary and I went to Carrizo yesterday for Jackrabbits. During our explorations we pulled up to the mouth of a canyon and parked. As we were walking around I started seeing thousands of pig tracks on the ground and in the river bed. We walked into the canyon and saw more tracks and some pig S#$$. I couldn't believe how many tracks there were. I had never seen so many in one place. It was getting to be 4:30 at the time and I was getting really excited. Realizing we still had to cross the entire plain and go through a small canyon on the way back, we decided that waiting until dark to see if some pigs came out of the canyon wouldn't be wise. We got back into the truck and started down the road when I saw them going right across the road. There was only one problem though. As far as I knew, pigs don't grow thick fluffy coats of wool with big red Ws painted on them. I then realized where the tracks came from. Sheep tracks look just like pig tracks and sheep S#$% looks just like pig S%^$. Gary and I laughed a long time at that one.
