Doug,

Yes, the Fort Hunter Liggett Training areas are open to public hunting on weekends & Federal Holidays when the Army training schedule permits. Guess the Army would like to keep the Wild Boar population at a minimum, so that the solders don't get chewed up while training?  Needless to say, these training areas are no place for pansies.  If you're looking for waypoints for your wed site, the San Antonio Mission located in Fort Hunter Liggett is a good place to visit, and it's free.
