I tried to utilize an old trail timer tt-500 with a owl pf.  Camera is wired properly and works when tested.  When I hook up to the two leads already built into the tt-500, the sensor trips and the camera just makes a click sound.  No flash, nothing.  It's almost like the pulse from the tt-500 isn't long enough in duration????.  I know the trail timer 500 works fine.  Anyone try this? or have any suggestions for troubleshooting?  Thanks.

Bassman91,
You won't be able to use the tt-500 directly with an owl PF.  The tt-500's camera output is a pulse of too short of a duration to take a picture with.  The tt-500's output is not an isolated output either, the output point is just a voltage pules, so it's be possible that it can damage the camera.  You'll have to build a timer circuit that the tt-500 triggers with it's camera output.  I modified a tt-500 a couple of years ago, but it got stolen.  I'll look around to see if I still have the schematic that I used.
