Getting ready to try a variation of Marty's timer using a 1000uF Capacitor and several combos of resistors in series. Haven't done much with electronics since I was an ET in the navy abt 26 years ago. If you see smoke, you'll know I screwed up. Hope I don't get zaped by the cap..
Will take digital pic's.

Not sure what "A LOT" is. Like I said, its been 26 years since I've done this stuff much. Guess if its too much I'll end up smoking something. If you think it might be the camera, reversing thru the diode, or the relay, please let me know. Thanks

Drawing too much current won't smoke anything except the batteries.

Gizz, I think it was, posted something about that several months ago but I don't remember how fast the batteries ran down but he complained about short battery life.

Thanks Tinhorn. Thought I would make this one first before getting into 555's and 556's. This way I could get my feet wet cheaply before going on to bigger and beter things. Thanks again.
