Elk knocked my trail camera off of the post it was mounted to. The camera was laying on the ground facing up when it took that cow elk picture.
I had a trail camera on each side of this spring, the cameras were about 30 yards apart.
In this picture you can see a bull elk on the other side of the spring above the cow elk, that bull elk may be scraping his antlers against my other trail camera and the post it is mounted to.
This camera is the one that got ripped off of the post by the elk. Look just to the right of the elk antler and just through the top of the tall green weeds and you can see my other camera on a post. That camera on the other side of the green weeds and the spring took the pictures of the bull elk with all the mud on him from rolling around in the spring mud.
