Thinking about booking a hunt with this group.  Has anyone hunted with them or know of someone that has?  I would like any information or opinions of them.  $475 for meat pig $575 for trophy.  Lunch is provided but must bring own breakfast and dinner.  You stay in a bunkhouse with fridg and stove included in price.  Also it is a 2 day hunt on private land of course.

What about cross country outfitters in paso. They're 500 bucks meat or trophy. I don't know about any outfitters. I myself just can't bring Myself to pay to shoot a pig. I'm just stubborn though.

You will get a fair chance at a hog with the twisselmans , they know the game and are good at it.

Sorry, a little off-topic.

Wavesfr, aren't you the one who posted a long time back about the financial justification for using a guide over doing it for free?  Or was that one of the other guys?  

I had the same hesitation about paying someone to shoot a "pest" animal, and still mostly hold back on it.  But when the freezer gets this empty, it gets a lot easier justifying the cost.  Still, I'm cheap... that's why the Tejon hunt is looking better and better.  Once the cost gets over $400, I can't see any justification at all.

speckmisser,  you must not have checked the Tejon fees lately.  The last few pig hunts have been for $510.  So I guess your $400 is out the door.

Still $300 for the Pig-o-Rama.    That's the only one I'm going to.  

I know their guided trips are a lot more, and I won't be joining any of those for a while.  Maybe after I win this lottery tomorrow night...
