Two macro's

Just two macro's taken with the new lens. IS is AWESOME! You have to be about five feet away for the macro function to work properly on the lens, I wish I could get a little closer.

Great shots Paul. If you want to lower the near range on that lens, look into some extension tubes!(Like you need more gear to dump money into!) You'll be able to get really close!

Machine, 5 feet seems to be the magic distance. If I try to get any closer, all I will see is a blur. If I try to get any farther away, the lens moves out of macro.

Zach I've read a little about using tubes, I'm sure they will find their way into my gear bag sooner or later. I ordered the Canon 1.4X T/C II yesterday, and I can't wait to try it out this weekend!
