Understanding the Ol' spotting scope

Is the difference between the FOV of the below scopes due to the different size of the objective lens? I thought the FOV was related to the power of the scope and this has me confused for some reason. I would think the scopes would be opposite of how they are listed. Also, does anyone have anything good or bad to say about these scopes? They are made by Vanguard and are the same scopes that Winchester sells but with a different name. I am thinking about buying the 12-50X50 to use on the farm, more for fun than anything else.
