I snapped off several pictures with my Sony H1 over vacation outside of San Diego. These flowers caught my eye with their interesting shapes and beautiful coloring.

These are really unusual - great pics too. I hope someone can id these for those of us that are botanically challenged!

Good job, I have no idea what most of the flora is that I take pictures of either, if it's pretty, interesting or ugly and Uninteresting I take a photo and sort it out later.

The first one is a perennial that is called something like the torch, or the burning torch (don't quite remember because we had it growing in our yard a few years ago). The last one is foxglove I think.
