Utah bonus points

I have applied for a bonus point only for deer but it won't let me do the same for elk. Does anybody here know how I can get points for Elk?

If you are talking about limited entry hunts, you can only apply for one limited entry species. So you cannot apply for both a limited entry deer and limited entry elk the same year. You can apply for a point for the general deer hunt and a limited entry point for elk.
