There are some good bulls on Nebo but there can be monsters on the Manti. I had a couple of 370+ bulls on my property there last December that we tried on the late archery. They go almost totally nocturnal when pressured at all. I'm hoping to find the spider bulls big brother or at least a cousin. I was able to see him last summer and he was pretty amazing. Good luck.

Well no charge for me yet...Which is probably a good thing since I am going to Arizona....If I drew Utah I would have to move out....

DUTTON

Buddy drew archery in the Dutton unit! Never been there but working out 24/7 to go for it. Any help on where to find that monster will be appreciated. Experienced archer but new to elk hunting. Can hunt the whole season and own a hoochie. ha

thanks

I've gone on a tag along hunt in the Pahvant unit, you should have no problem shooting a big bull there. It was something to see a bunch of 340 class Bulls and have the guys I was with call them dinks LOL! Buddy did arrow a 365" Bull on the last weekend of his season and it was far smaller than the one he was chasing.

Sorry, but I cant tell you where we were, I've been sworn to secrecy!

I haven't been on Dutton and don't really have much info on it other than I hear the guys who do pretty good horse ride back in there quite a ways. It might be alright for backpacking too. I'd start a separate thread here and on other sites. You'll get some help. There's a real vocal guy on Monster Muleys who knows that unit inside & out and is always answering peoples questions about that unit.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll start a thread on Mule and Kings outdoors. Found a January 09 post that prettymuch tells it like it is -hit or miss and will need ropes to get into the canyons.
Too hot, too early, and too many hunters.
got to find unpopular areas!

No draw for me this year though-just be a tagalong or a caddy. I've got 11 long yearrs of elk, deer, and sheep points. Hope I outlive them.

thanks again
