Update:

There was an extremely poor turnout.

Six VIPs showed up (including the base commander) to have a discussion with four hunters, including myself.

No definite proposals were made. There is a planned helicopter fly over for deer survey in April by the California Fish and Wildlife. The consensus is without a good deer survey, it is difficult to decide what the next hunting season will be like.

There was a discussion about continuing the G11 season.

There was a discussion about closing one district each year.

IMHO, since there was such a poor showing, I'll be surprised if there will be another opportunity like this last meeting anytime soon.
