With FHL closing for a while i started thinking where am i going now ?

I have a friend that is retired military and believes he can get me on VAFB as a guest.

Does he need to be licenced or just be with me.

he is not a hunter but would do the trip with me.

To hunt on VAFB the primary person (sponsor) has to be legal to hunt. He must be licensed and purchase a "Use Fee" sticker from the base Conservation office; $50 cash only. You would then need to be licensed and purchase a "Guest Use Fee" sticker at some cost, maybe $50 as well. You would have to remain in his direct control at all times. That means you hunt from the same vehicle in the same place and NEVER separate.
