I have to say this, though... at the risk of raining on your parade. I cringed when I saw some of the gun handling in that video. #1 - bang, elk goes down, you jack in another round, you guys take off after it down a hill covered in steep grass. That's a disaster waiting to happen. #2 - after you make sure the thing is dead you lean the gun on the elk (I can only assume the gun was loaded since you used it to check to make sure it wasn't going to get up and run off). After leaning the gun on the dead elk, you & your partner take a position behind it, you lift the head/antlers up. All it takes is for that gun to slip, something hits the trigger, you and/or your buddy are deader than that elk. After I dump an animal and it's time to snap pictures I always empty the gun and leave the bolt open.
Again, not trying to ruin your fun just would hate to see you or somebody get hurt. Hope you take that it in the spirit it's given.
