WA Cougar Hunting Update

As many of you know, the State of Washington legislature passed legislation this year authorizing the Washington Wildlife Commission to establish a pilot hound hunting season in 5 eastern Washington counties.

The Wildlife Commission had their meeting this last weekend, but a final decision about cougars was not reached. The Commission will meet again Oct 2, and they are supposed to decide what type of hound hunting season to implement.

It would be quite a rare feat if we could get this one reversed.
