I have talked to several different new members in the last few weeks on this as well as when someone was by my house looking at my cams. When you are doing your walk test to check out the cams for detection. Walk in front of the cam from left to right or right to left to check it. Don't just walk out in front of the cam and come toward or away from the cam to check the detection. It needs to detect the change in heat from something moving across in front of the pir detection zone. It will pick up differences in heat straight out in front of it but it is a better method to move across in front and out of the detection zone when checking the cam. Hope that helps the new members to understand this a little better.
