It was horrible windy all morning, then it started raining...
Wait it was duck hunting so it was great. I got the day off in the middle of the week, and killed a couple birds at Howard Slough on a buddy's ressie. He got both of his bull sprig on a single pass with an OU.

Hunted Wednesday in Humboldt, the down pour didn't occur until about 11:30. That was when the teals came in thick. We ended the day with 4 man limit and 3 Aleutians. Also was soaked all the way down to the boots of my waders.
I hunted a blind between down the road from little dry creek. Lots of birds coming in, but not too many willing to commit. I think we got something like a 4 bird average for 4 guys. We all had trouble finding the sweet spot with our lead and the wind made it hard to hit birds (at least that's the story I'm going with). We all would have had limits if we could shoot straight and they came in another 5 or so yards
