Wax Ring

I just went to Ebay and looked at some sheds and notice that one guys describes some of them as having a Wax ring around the bases. What does this mean ? I just looked at the matched set I recently found and they appear to have this. It is easily scraped off but I only removed a tiny bit. Thanks.

People mentioning the wax ring are just letting it be known that it is a fresh shed. If they lay outside for long, it won't be there. The wax ring is just some left over tissue or residue around the pedicle area of the shed.
