nope, but I did catch it in the shorts yesterday! This was my first year being employed full time without being a full time college students, so my loans will have to wait. Maybe next year I'll have a bone thrown my way.

Catch it in the shorts?

I dunno... I think they took my shorts too!

Seems like I should now qualify as a non-profit.

I paid for 17k worth of shorts last year. I'm hoping NV is alittle nicer to me this year then Cali was last.

This was the first year Uncle Sam and I broke (near) even. I owed about as much as the cost of a resident deer tag in the state of your choice. the state got it's pound of flesh though.

Somehow, my 21 year old son figured it out. He got $1 back from the state and had to pay the fed $41. This is exactly how it should be done. Don't let them have any more of your money to use for free then necessary, (of course, if you're late they hit you with big time interest), and don't have to pay a big chunk. Wife and I got a big refund this time but that was due to a personal financial event that probably won't happen again in our lifetime. I expect I'll be paying, or hopefully, getting close to breaking even next time.

Gave one nut and half an arm as I do every year.

Having no Dependants is no fun.

Can I write off Rex the Wonder dog.
He eats enough to be a Dependant.

I filed mine at the begining of March and the refunds have been long spent. Between state and Fed I got $2K and change back. But, most of that is because of how much I donate to the non-profit during the year.
