I remember when I was young seeing pics of him in front of a barn with all those monster muley mounts hung up behind him.

I too saw that layout in I believe was in Outdoor Life with all those big mounts on the barn door setting. I was awestruck at 16 living on the Western Slope of Colorado and loved deer hunting. I show my uncle and his only comment was those are nice bucks but when he was a young man in the 40 and 50s those where common place. Plus those horns do not eat to good. When I hanging out in the Delta/Montrose area I met a guy who worked with him and told he was a jerk and not to honest. Then as the years rolled by most of his crap rose to the surface. I am sure he knock down some of the bucks and some where not "altered". IMHO he is just a piece of crap and a common criminal. I hope he and his wife recieve the max and he nevers gets of prison so as not to roam the hills with honest, law abiding hunters.... just my thoughts on
