I took the long way home from work today with the camera. I kept better track tonight although I still had to do some estimating. 200+ deer in half an hour.

Here is one spot I stopped. How many deer do you see? There was one that got cut off to the right of the photo.

Don't even need to count those - i think that qualifies as "a ton". That's more deer than I've seen in the past three years of hunting.

Cool picture 5.9cummins, I've hunted for the past 5 seasons in the Dutchess County area, must more of a deer population compared to Chittenden County VT

Cool catch. There is a Boy Scout Camp near my inlaws and at times there have been herds upwards of 300 grazing in the alfalfa field, not to mention the small herd of elk with them.

Now what do you think the chances of them letting me fill a tag there?

yummm backstrap(s).
I clicked on the large photo, and on the right it looks like a decent sized buck (or a clump of grass above his head <-- probably more so the case )

I get 94 when I blow up the photo to actual pixles in photo shop (including the one that got cut off).
